REP. CORREA VOTES AGAINST FINANCIAL CHOICE ACT

Washington, D.C.—Rep. Lou Correa released the following statement following his vote on H.R. 10—Financial CHOICE Act of 2017:

“While we do need to address some of Dodd-Frank’s stricter regulations that restrict the growth of our small business, The CHOICE Act is not the answer. This bill removes regulations that keep our economy safe. It would expose Americans to the potential for another taxpayer-funded bailout and effectively eliminate the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. We cannot go back. Protecting the middle class and growing our economy is too important.”
